About the Editor

Dr. Copeland holds a Ph.D. in molecular and cellular biology from Tulane University, specializing in tropical medicine, parasite genetics, and retrotransposons/retroviruses, with postdoctoral research experience in molecular entomology, noncoding RNA, and computational genomics. She has published several peer reviewed journal articles and has edited manuscripts in a broad range of biomedical and agricultural fields, including translational biology, epidemiological studies, and case reports. She enjoys writing and helping authors to improve their manuscripts, and has extensive experience working with authors who are non-native English speakers.
